Many begin near $20 per month.

The bundles are completely different.

One plan gives you a native coding agent and its strongest models. Another gives you $20 of metered API usage. Another shares its credits across coding, hosting and the app you deployed.

The sticker price tells you almost nothing.

So I ranked the current plans using one practical question:

If an Indian creator or builder can pay for only one, which subscription should they buy?

This is a purchase ranking for building and maintaining real software. It is not a universal model benchmark.

Codex is my default recommendation.

In my actual work, GPT-5.6 Sol has consistently mogged Opus 5. Luna handles cheaper, higher-volume work without wasting Sol usage.

The $20 Plus plan also includes the wider ChatGPT product, so the subscription is useful outside coding.

GPT 5.6 Luna Max is kinda cool for small tasks.

Verdict: Best single purchase for a serious builder today.

Claude Code remains the strongest alternative.

Choose it when Claude's planning, architecture or interface works measurably better for you.

Fable does not turn the plan into an unlimited bargain. Still on the 50% usage offer for fable 5 and the overall usage limit is not that good.

Verdict: Buy Claude if u don’t like codex.

Cursor sells an excellent IDE experience: indexing, tab completion, visual diffs, cloud agents.

India's Start plan costs ₹649 per month and includes generous Cursor-model usage, but no third-party-model pool. Pro costs $20 and includes $20 of third-party usage. Ultra costs $200 and includes $400.

Verdict: Pay for Cursor when the IDE itself improves your work enough to justify metered Sol and Claude access.

This is the strongest free starting route.

OpenCode currently offers DeepSeek V4 Flash free for a limited time. It is useful for learning agentic coding or handling lower-cost execution before buying another subscription.

The offer can disappear, and free access may involve data collection. Keep confidential repositories away unless the terms fit your risk.

Verdict: Start here when the budget is zero.

Hermes is useful when you want an open personal agent, memory, tools and easy model switching.

Nous Plus costs $20 and gives $22 in monthly credits. That is a metered wallet across many models, not an unlimited coding plan.

Verdict: Good for experimentation and personal-agent workflows, weaker as the only heavy coding subscription.

Grok Build is available through SuperGrok and X Premium+. SuperGrok also includes X search, chat, voice, image and video generation.

That wider creator bundle may justify the price. Coding alone does not.

Verdict: Buy it when the wider Grok ecosystem matters.

Antigravity already has a free tier with agent models, unlimited tab completions and basic weekly limits.

Verdict: don’t buy.

Literally D tier.

Verdict: Buy if u hate money.

Both are excellent at turning an idea into a first working app. They make building accessible to people who do not want a terminal.

Their credits also cover platform work such as Agent usage, hosting or deployed features. Once a project needs difficult debugging, repository ownership and long-term maintenance, the native coding agents become better purchases.

Verdict: Great prototype builders, poor default subscriptions for serious repository work. D tier
